Mr. Wazirzada Muhammad Owais is the Managing Partner of Wazirzada Law Associates, bringing over 25 years of experience in the legal field. As an independent legal practitioner, he handled a diverse range of contentious and non-contentious matters, specializing in corporate law, construction law, and commercial litigation. Mr. Owais has successfully registered various companies and played a crucial role in drafting significant legislation, including the “Clean Drinking Water Act 2007” for the Ministry of Health and WHO.
Prior to his current role, he served as Legal Counsel at Emaar Pakistan, gaining expertise in real estate law, and held the position of Assistant Manager (Legal) at SME Bank Limited, overseeing legal due diligence, litigation, and contract drafting. With a comprehensive understanding of service matters, labor courts, and banking law, Mr. Owais has represented clients in high and subordinate courts. Additionally, Mian Masood Ahmad’s academic qualifications include LL.B. and BA degrees from Punjab University, Lahore, Pakistan.
In recent times, Mr. Mian Masood Ahmad has held significant positions, including Accountant Member in the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue, BPS – 21 and Commissioner of Income Tax, BPS – 20. These roles have enabled him to develop expertise in tax administration, legal matters, and high-level decision-making. Demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional growth, he has actively participated in workshops and conferences such as the Asia Pacific Tax Conference and the International Judicial Conference.
